Let me tell you about the moment I knew I wanted to teach. My high school teacher, Mr. Garrison, turned every lesson into an adventure. That spark he lit became my own passion for teaching. So, fast forward to China, I'm teaching restless teenagers. One day I scrapped my lesson plan, moved the class outside to the park, and watched their faces light up when things finally clicked. When that happened, that was the magic. That spark has carried me through early childhood, elementary, high school, and now mentoring future teachers at the university level. But here's the truth that spark, the one we're trying to ignite in our students, can't survive when we're running on empty. Burnout, lack of support, overwhelming challenges. They dim our light, and we can't inspire kids if our own flame is out. That's why this podcast exists. Teaching is one of the most important jobs in the world. You deserve more than survival mode. You deserve to thrive. Hello and welcome to the Educators Beacon. I'm thrilled to welcome you here. My name is Dr. Brandon Naylor.
